Advanced Sailing
This course is meant to further develop the sailing skills and knowledge that are taught during our Learn to Sail class. Students will practice docking technique, man overboard recovery, anchoring, and other useful outer harbor voyaging skills. Learn chart reading skills, practical piloting, advanced sail trim, and a variety of skills and techniques to utilize when the weather becomes challenging or the sailboat has mechanical problems. The course is taught through twelve hours of sailing and classroom instruction over two days.

Boston Harbor Navigation Course
This course covers the basics of coastal navigation using the harbor and islands as the classroom. Topics will include chart reading, dead reckoning, coordinate systems, running fix, set, drift, and other topics. The course is taught in two, 3-hour classes with classroom and on the water training. The course includes a chart of Boston Harbor.

Intro to Racing
This course covers the basics of sailboat racing. The course is divided into four sessions stressing the rules, tactics, boat speed and boat handling. This course is designed for first time racers and we hope that students will then move on to our Thursday Night Racing. The course is 4, two hour sessions.
Introduction To Sailing
Learn the basics of sailing and experience Boston Harbor on the water during a 2 hour sail. This course is designed for people who are looking to experience sailing but aren’t sure if they are ready for a bigger commitment. The cost of this class can be applied fully towards the Learn to Sail course. Two Hour Lesson.
Learn To Sail
Learn how to sail! The Learn to Sail course will teach you the fundamentals of sailing. The goal of the course is to provide a proper foundation of sailing skills and knowledge. Students will be taught the fundamentals of sailing, general boat safety and basic rules of the road. The 21 hour course is taught in our fleet of user friendly Sonars and students who pass their exam will receive the US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification. Multiple scheduling options are available.
