HEAL-on-the-Water

The program was developed to assist in the rehabilitation of the newly disabled,  people with degenerative diseases and military service related injuries at a time in their lives when they facing great changes and challenges. HEAL-on-the-Water offers an opportunity to see and explore the possibilities for life, recreation and hope. Participants gain the opportunity to practice their new mobility and daily life activities in an exciting and empowering environment along side their medical professionals.

In 2009 Spaulding Rehabilitation Center helped pilot the program. In 2010, partners include Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital, the Shaughnessy Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital, the Veterans Administration Hospital and many more.
