The Halloween Howl Regatta

A race around the harbor islands to close out the warm season!

A $35 ticket is required for each person sailing (crew and skippers).

The regatta begins at 11am on Saturday, October 31 with a Skipper’s meeting on land. We will review the course and some rules, then assign crews and boats to each team. Sonars will race from the Piers Park Cove, around one of the harbor islands & channel markers (Course TBD based on weather conditions), returning to the start line to finish. Estimated end time is 3:00pm. A short award ceremony will follow with food provided.

Levels 2 -5 qualifications are not required for this event – PPSC will have safety boats to guide Sonars around the harbor islands.

Winning teams will have their names added to the Halloween Howl Prize Cup! Tickets are required for participation in this regatta. Please be sure to purchase a ticket for each guest or crew member participating. Leave a note letting us know who you plan to race with if you have already decided on a crew. We will pair individual sailors together on the morning of the race.

Costumes are encouraged! Prize for best costume in attendance!
