Learn to Sail Class

Learn the fundamentals of sailing including terminology, boat preparation, safety precautions, wind and weather, rigging, knots, boat handling, sail trim, emergency procedures, and basic navigation.  Students will learn on our fleet of 23-foot Sonar class sailboats in the Boston Harbor.

The Learn to Sail course is offered in back to back weekends or across two weeks of weekday evenings.  By completing this course, you will earn your US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification.

After completing the course you are eligible to use our fleet of Sonars with a valid sailing pass.
