Soup to Knots Regatta 2025

Piers Park Sailing Center hosts the Soup to Knots Regatta 2025 to benefit the East Boston Community Soup Kitchen. As a fundraiser regatta, all ticket sales will be sent directly to the EBCSK.

The East Boston Community Soup Kitchen strives to feed, shelter, and assist with the recovery and self-care of the hungry and homeless in our community, and to do so without judgment. To learn more, visit https://www.ebcsk.org/

The Regatta: 

We will meet at Piers Park Sailing Center at 10:30am on Saturday, Sep 20 2025 for a Skipper’s meeting. We will review the course and some rules, then assign crews and boats to each team. The starting sequence will begin at 11:00am. Sonars will race from the Piers Park Cove, around one of the harbor islands & channel markers (Course TBD based on weather conditions), returning to the start line to finish. Estimated end time is 2:30pm. A short award ceremony will follow with food provided.

Levels 2 -5 qualifications are not required for this event – PPSC will have safety boats to guide Sonars around the harbor islands.

Winning teams will have their names added to the Soup to Knots Prize Cup and will receive prizes for each member of their team! Tickets are required for participation in this regatta. Please read the descriptions of each registration option to ensure you or your team is registered correctly.

Additional long sleeve t-shirts will be available for purchase on a first-come-first-served basis $35/shirt on the day of the regatta.

Those who want to join a boat as an individual crew member and would like Race Committee to assign them to a boat. If there is one other sailor who you'd like to sail with, you can leave us a note at checkout with their name. They will need to purchase a spot as well.
