The Teen Training Program at Piers Park Sailing Center is one of two Green Jobs Programs for teens age 14-16 years old. The other is the Future Leaders Program.

The Teen Training Program runs concurrently with the Spring and Fall Sailing After School programs. This six-week series is hands on, paid, and provides all the skills necessary for teens to sail independently and to coach and mentor others on the dock and on the water.

The program typically leads to paid, full time summer employment in July and August in the Harbor Explorers Program. Many of the Harbor Explorers Instructional Staff get their job by successfully completing the Teen Training Program. If you have questions about this program, email Omar at osahrour@piersparksailing.org or text the sailing center at 617-561-6677.
